SIMILAR LOOKING SPECIES |
|
For the fully pruinosed males, abbotti and hintziare grouped together
with machadoi due to the shape and color of the Pt, the light colored Ax
veins and the yellow costa (most noticeable between the nodus and
pterostigma) combination. Machadoi tend to show a pale area on the thorax and
might also be confused with chrysostigma. It also displays a darkish
shoulder and may be confused with guineense.
